Project Cookbook 1

Project Cookbook dilaksanakan dengan jayanya semalam. Hhehehe... Akhirnya berjaya gak resolusi tahun baru Wan untuk masak2 resipi eksotik nih.

First try - Eggs in Hell.

Namanya memang pelik sket. Masakan telur ngan gravy podas. Tu jer... agak hell sket la kot. Terbakar lidah. Panas dan pedas.

Ingredientnya...

dan...

Dadukan segala2 ingredient tadi...

Pastu bawang ngan garlic digurem ngan olive oil...

Then masuk tomato and garam...

pastu masuk la daunan sup tadi tuh + air sket... ngan chili flakes tuh... kalau mau panas api tak hengat dunia, taruk la banyak2 flakes tuh...

Dah beberapa minit atas api, transferkan ke dalam 4 ramekins yg dibeli di The Curve tuh...
kedai ETC... iklan free utk kedai tuh...

Pastu, taruk sebiji telur dalam setiap ramekin, atas bahan2 merah tadi... and masukkan dlm oven... 180 degrees celcius atau 350 farenheit...

Wan cuba wat satu dulu... nampak menarik kan?
macam betul2 telur tu dalam neraka sebab ada lava merah tuh... hehehe

Bismillah... sodap dan podas... :)

Nak menambah kesedapan, letak ler daun bawang ngan cheese...

So sbb percubaan pertama berjaya, Wan masak ler tiga lagi dish tuh...

Sementara tunggu Eggs in Hell siap, Wan goreng nasik dulu...

dan juga nugget, in case Eggs in Hell tak jadi... hehehe...


Dah abis tuh, tunggu ler tasting jury tiba... yup, Project Cookbook kena ada tasting panel... terasa cam Iron Chef lak... hehehe...

Nasib baik diaorg cakap sedap... hehehehe... so setelah sukses yang ni, next month kena pilih resipi lain lak dan jemput tasting jury yg lain lak... sapa nak volunteer? :)

Wan rasa nak buat yg sedikit complex next time... tunggguuuu...

Shopping

Last weekend pegi IKEA untuk membeli barangan utk dapo... and untuk wat Eggs in Hell... hehehe... tapi sebenarnya nak pegi beli mezzaluna tu lar... setelah puas berkeliaran mencari, jumpa la gak akhirnya... tapi bukan mcm yg Nigella pakai tuh... huhuhu

RM30 utk pisau dan papan...

ni la chopper tuh...

Pastu, ramekins tu lak, tak jumpa kat IKEA, kena pegi The Curve... nasib baik sebelah2 jer... jumpa kat kedai ETC... cantik2 gak... so Wan pilih yg ni...

Gradient karer merah n hitam... RM60...

So pasni, leh la wat Eggs in Hell ataupun apa2 yg perlu ramekins... hehehe... tunggguuuu...

Pho Hoa

Pho Hoa Restaurant nih serve makanan Vietnam... kat The Curve... kitaorg singgah ari tu lepas sesi karaoke...

Located kat belakang2... area2 Waroeng Penyet, tapi kat ground floor

Air yg menarik... cam ais kacang...

Popiah veggies...

Soup Daging + Rice Noodles... macam jenis... siap ada perut dan hati... best! :)

Food: Paddington House of Pancakes

Paddington House of Pancakes @ The Curve with Azhar for Buka Puasa. Both of us did not know what to eat or where to go. On a whim, he took us to The Curve and since I haven't tried Paddington, I thought we should. Azhar said food was nice so we decided...

Twas kinda empty when we got there... at 6.30...

Closer to 7, then we see others coming in...

I ordered the vanilla lime kiwi shake... very nice and refreshing

Then, we kinda cannot decide on what to eat... I had my eye on the desserts menu and since it was sinfully delicious, we decided to only get appetizers instead of the main course and have desserts for the mai course... hehehehe... :P

Azhar's Treasure Box (which is basically various fruits,
ice cream and mini pancakes, served with syrup)

I ordered the Fondue set, which was basically the same like Treasure Box,
except this dish has marshmallows...

and you dip everything into this delicious chocolate fondue...

Which is this liquid... but I was told to stir it before...

Which turned into this... yummy... as you can imagine... the dipping...

Even stole Azhar's peach and dipped it in...

Very nice indeed... the price was not that bad too... the desserts were 20+ I think... but definitely worth it... :)

Food: Waroeng Penyet

During the break for MFA Bowling Tournament at Cineleisure, me and colleagues couldn't decide what to eat. I wanted to try Paddington House of Pancakes. One colleague wanted Kenny Rogers. One couldn't decide and the other one just wanted to follow the lead.

I told them we don't have to eat at the same place and we could go off on our own and meet back up at the bowling alley.

I remembered Waroeng Penyet at The Curve so I wanted to go there. They all wanted to follow. *shrugs*

I've only been to one other 'Penyet' restaurant. The one in Taman Dagang called Wong Solo.

I think the food is slightly better at Waroeng but Wong Solo has a better ambience...
