Tadi kena pegi Wisma Atlan sebab nak kenselkan broadband... masa lunch time... trus jalan kaki ke KLCC... bayar lak bill telepon... terasa nak makan sandwich... huhu... so trus pegi O'Briens...

Grilled Cheese

Lapar malam2 tapi malas kuar gi beli makanan... penah jadi kat korang kan? Nasib baik malam tu ada cheese ngan roti kat umah... American cheese best tau, bukan sbb Wan American (bak kata kawan2 Wan lar)... tapi cheese tu mmg sedap lar... hehe

Untuk tujuan kesihatan, kita guna wholemeal bread... sapu mentega dan letak sekeping cheese

Pastu grill... sampai golden brown...

Camnih... atau mengikut citarasa masing2... hehe

Makan cepat2 sementara cheese masih panas dan cair... yum3 :)

Food: Subway

Yesterday went to Times Square to meet up with Panzer. Supposed to have my bowling ball fixed coz there's a tourney next month at Sunway Pyramid.

I don't fancy Sunway Pyramid Bowling coz I can't use the house balls. So if I wanna join the tourney, I need to fix the damn ball.

Anyways, the shop was closed and Panzer went for a Thai massage. So I surfed online at Starbucks and opened Facebook and layan-ed my latest addiction: Pet Society.

After that, we headed to Subway for dinner. Did you guys know that Subway has a new promotion?

Sub of the Day for RM7.50.

Mondays: Italian BMT, Tuesdays: Tuna, Wednesdays: Meatball Marinara, Thursdays: Turkey Breast and Turkey Ham, Fridays: Smoked Turkey, Saturdays: Seafood and Crab and finally Sundays: Chicken Teriyaki.

I had the Meatball Sub... honestly, I don't know how people can eat that properly... the meatballs kept evading my mouth... either I take one whole meatball in or I just get the bread...

In other news, a musical guest appeared at the office today. Fresh off of Juara Lagu (even though he did not win), Aizat came for an interview. At the end of the hour, he sang live Lagu Kita... after that, we all took turns and posed with him... he's talented and cool... :)

Food: O'Briens

Last Friday, we went to KLCC. I needed to buy magazines... hmm, I was the only one with an actual need other than wanting lunch.

So we fought over the venue and in the end we settled with O'Briens. Twas a sandwich place, quite expensive but I guess it was okay since one of the colleagues is leaving and we won't get to do the lunch outing anymore. But to be honest, I am a Subway guy at heart.

My choice of beverage. Esprit Raspberry. Am a sucker for raspberries.

My sandwich. Smoked salmon.

Fahmi's. Chicken and guacamole.

Belle's. Triple Decker.

Belle chose the chips even though we get chips with the sandwich.

All in all, it was a good experience. We traded our sandwiches so we could taste each other's sandwiches. I like mine the best, followed by the guacamole and then only the Triple Decker.

I love salmon, smoked or fresh. Salmon is the only fish I could eat raw (sushi) wihout my gagging reflex kicking in. O'Briens' smoked salmon was subtle and not fishy as most people would have thought.

Guacamole is something I like also. It's like a rare delicacy but not actually rare. :)

The Triple Decker was messy. There was crispy chicken in it, some other deli meat and coleslaw. Coleslaw in a sandwich? One thought. Messy. It did not make the experience nice although the sandwich itself is nice.
