Saba
Before CNY, Wan ngan colleagues pegi makan lunch kat Saba Restoran dekat Setiawangsa... betul2 depan LRT station... apparently, Saba ni ada gak cawangan kat Cyberjaya... sedap... so colleague tu nak bawak kitaorg try lar...

So terpaksa combine ngan gambar2 dari Saba Cyberjaya... Wan ikut kawan2 lak pegi situ selang dua hari lepas Saba Setiawangsa...
Ayam Khanif gak kot... hehehe
Grilled Chicken
Restoran Saba
Banyak gak restoran lain kat situ...
Ayam Khanif (Wan rasa lar... dah tak ingat...)
Hmm, sebenarnya, banyak lagi gambar... sorang colleague Wan tu order lamb, sorang lagi order apa entah, and then kitaorg share appetizer platter... ada hummus dan roti dan macam2 lagi... tapi tadi masa editing, Wan tak perasan yang suma gambar terhighlight... Wan nak delete dua gambar jer... dia highlight suma and trus delete suma... :(
Nasi Saba memang best... light and fluffy and delicious... ayam/daging/lamb tu sedap gak... tapi the highlight is definitely the rice...
Although, nasi kat Cyberjaya better sket dari yang kat Setiawangsa... :)
But the service kat Setiawangsa very the questionable... kitaorg dah nak abis makan pun tak dapat2 air... sedih tak? Ingatkan Setiawangsa aja cam gitu, kat Cyberjaya pun sama jer... dah nak tercekik mati dah, baru la sampai air... so maybe mmg standard service diaorg cam tu kot...
Anyway, maknanya, makan kat situ slow and steady, jgn gelojoh and jgn tercekik... hehehe...

Food: Splendid
Splendid is a cafe in Jusco AU2 Setiawangsa. It's right outside in the courtyard with the fountain. The menu has western food but also serves local delicacies. The photos are a bit yellow-ish because I was trying a different setting with Elsa...

The interior
Hot Chocolate
Beef Noodle
Pic too yellow... but that egg is definitely not sunny side up...
For RM16.90, I was not satisfied with what I got. I could get a better deal from McDonald's... sigh... and then I realized Splendid was kinda like Secret Recipe's distant cousin... hmm...

Poster on the wall

Continental Breakfast
Splendid has a 'Food of the Day' type deal where the food of the day, in this case, it's the Beef Noodle, gets a 50% discount.
The beef noodle was not bad I think but that was not my order. I ordered the breakfast even though it was dinner time. I am crazy for continental breakfast I think. I once had a dinner party and invited friends over and made them breakfast food. :)
Anyways, I was disappointed with my food. The portion was small. The baked beans were cold. The toast was even toasted. It was bread. Cut half. 3 sausages? Come on!
The eggs? I ordered sunny side up. This is what I got...

Portion-wise? Disappointing. Quality of the food? Disappointing too...

Food: Izzi Pizza
Went to Izzi again. No feathers this time, I swear. Just like the visits before that particular incident. :)
Did not know about this until I sat down and was handed the menu. A pleasant surprise indeed.
75% off
Panzer's BBQ Chicken Salad
My Prawn Linguine
My Greek Salad
Panzer's Marinara Pizza
We each ordered Calamari

By the way, good news for the folks at Setiawangsa. Izzi has opened a branch there.

Did not know about this until I sat down and was handed the menu. A pleasant surprise indeed.

So we went stir-crazy and ordered all kinds of food...

The food is as usual good. Was surprised at the portion of the Calamari. Did not remember it being that huge... quite good actually. The Double Choco Fudge was a bit of a letdown... too dry...

By the way, good news for the folks at Setiawangsa. Izzi has opened a branch there.
And no, Izzi did not pay me to say so. :P
